The artistic works of Brandi
The creative spirit from which Brandi manifest her art stems from the ethnicities she embodies and her varied life expereinces as a woman, mother, dancer, poet and artist. In addition to creating her own personal artwork; she is a Visual Arts Instructor who also has experience creating community outreach art experiences for underserved communities and children.
The breadth of Brandi's artwork possess a quality that portrays the relationship between nature, man, woman and child. Another common theme within her works is the creation of imagery that depicts her appreciation of faith and reflect her artistic journey through life. Flowing beneath the surface of each painting is an element of textural collage, adding a facet of the artist's own playful spirit. Her vivid use of colors and gestural brush strokes invites the viewer to experience a certain ambient and feeling of movement within her pieces.
